What We Believe
Our Mission
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed.
We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; eternal in being; equal in power and glory; and having the same attributes and perfection.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as our substitutionary sacrifice and that we are justified by faith in Him.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest, representative, intercessor, and advocate.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the One who convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment, and that He is the person of the Godhead active in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling them, and sealing them unto the day of redemption.
We believe the Holy Spirit to be the divine teacher and who guides believers into all truth, and it is the privilege and duty of all believers to be continually filled and controlled by the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the local church is empowered and directed by Jesus Christ to carry out the great Commission to the local community and to any other areas the Lord leads.
We believe that the bible teaches that there is a place of punishment for the deceased unbeliever called hell, and that the spirit and soul of the unbeliever remain eternally there after death.
“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought”
— 1 Corinthians 1:10
